QingPi originates from Shandong Province, Weihai City. It is the most widely planted variety in Northen China. QingPi is the most cold-tolerant cultivar. What make it distinct is its extremely sweet oval shaped fruits of light green skin with deep strawberry red pulp. Average weight about 45 to 60 grams, 90% developed/ripen QingPi contains sugar content as high as 22% to 27%.
